Processing Technician - Afternoon Shift

Pay Rate: $32.75 per hour + shift differential
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-11:00 PM

Job Description Essential Responsibilities Non-Dental Functions:
  • Responsible for transferring semi-finish product from main vessel to tote run tank.
  • Physically performs manual additions 80% to 100% of the time.
  • Works with corrosive acids, toxic materials, oxidizers, and hightemperature unfinished product daily.
Dental and Non-Dental Functions:
  • Perform washouts, purges, and all required paperwork including batch changes to maintain production line.
  • Report to the Processing Supervisor for daily assignments.
  • Stage batches using a fork truck.
  • Add dry and liquid raw materials into blenders.
  • Properly label tanks, totes, samples, etc.
  • Run different equipment simultaneously (e.g., charge raw materials to main vessel while preparing premixes).
  • Follow batch sheet instructions and sign off each process step - FDA Required.
  • Obtain samples from each batch and submit to the Quality Department for approval.
  • Manage bulk liquid and dry inventory using the WMS system.
  • Perform OSHArequired forklift safety inspections and complete checklist.
  • Wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work area.
  • Follow department SOPs, GMPs, and JSAs.
  • Participate in all jobrelated safety training and comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Receive general orientation, jobspecific training, and refresher training related to hazardous chemicals handled in the job.
  • Comply with all NJ laws and company policies/procedures for sampling, unloading, preweighing, transferring, and/or handling hazardous chemicals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Dental Functions:
  • Use an automated control process via HMI touchscreen to process semifinished product.
  • Connect dedicated hoses to transfer raw material from tanker to prefill batch hoppers.
  • Manually introduce raw material into the main vessel through a vacuum system.
  • Batch and supply the production line with product via storage or totes.
  • Work with oxidizers and toxic raw materials.
  • Maintain LPD skid to support daily packaging line requirements.
Education & Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Chemical aptitude - experience in chemical mixing and batching.
  • Minimum one year experience as a Compounder/Batch Maker in a fastpaced manufacturing environment (FDA environment a plus).
  • Experience with WMS a plus.
  • Must pass a respiratory fit test to wear a respirator.
Essential Skills:
  • Must be able to speak and communicate in English.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Strong computer skills - ability to operate automated systems or programming.
  • Forklift certified.
  • Able to follow directions.
  • Detailoriented.
  • Teamoriented with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Able to operate multiple blenders and manage material additions.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate: $32.75 per hour + shift differential
(This position is also eligible for a bonus.)

Actual base pay offered will be based on factors such as jobrelated skills, experience, business needs, geographic location, and internal pay parity.
