Senior Mechanical Engineer

Principal Process Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and
improving manufacturing systems and processes within an Agile environment. This
role blends engineering fundamentals, data-driven decision making, and
cross-functional collaboration, with an emphasis on AI-enabled tools,
automation, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is adaptable,
curious, and comfortable working in fast-changing environments where
technology, manufacturing, and software intersect.

Compensation: $85,000-$115,000 annually

Key Tasks
A good attendance record is essential to the smooth operation of the Engineering Department.
Manage process improvement projects through establishment of schedules with milestones, tasks, responsible parties, due dates, and coaching/guidance of team members to achieve the goals of the project.
Provide process requirement specifications used to fabricate products, including acceptance criteria, test requirements and regulatory/quality standards.
Integrate AI into manual processes for efficiency gains and virtual factory applications.
Identify and implement process improvements aligned with Lean and Agile principles
Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing systems, processes, or products using Agile methodologies
Apply AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics tools to improve efficiency, quality, predictive maintenance, or process control
Implement and analyze data from manufacturing systems (MES, ERP, sensors, IoT) to drive continuous improvement
Develop, execute or lead process validation plans for new or modified processes and issues reports based on the test results. Maintain technical documentation, standards and work instructions.
Coordinates and perform pre-production runs working with manufacturing, quality and purchasing to ensure the product and process designs meet product design requirement specification and can be economically produced in production.

Your Background

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Software, or related field)
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, collaborative teams
Proficiency with engineering tools, data analysis, or automation technologies relevant to the role
5+ years of experience using Solidworks
Other
qualifications or experiences.
