Job Description: Global Vertical Delivery Leader - Healthcare and Life Sciences Location: North America, Europe, or APAC We are looking for an accomplished, results-oriented Global Vertical Delivery Leaderto lead end-to-end delivery for our Healthcare and Life Sciences vertical. This role ownsdelivery excellence, client satisfaction, margin performance, and capability scalingacross geographies. The ideal candidate brings deep experience inengineering delivery, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate confidently withClient CXO leaders, Client Engineering leaders, global account teams, and distributed delivery organizations. A critical component is collaborating with customer leaders to gain technical agreement, make delivery-related decisions, resolve concerns, and be the central player for the organic growth of the vertical. This position will report to our Chief Delivery Officer while collaborating with key Sales and Regional Delivery leaders.
Key Directives:
- Engineering, Delivery & Governance Leadership:
Own global delivery for the assigned vertical, spanning multiple accounts, programs, and geographies. Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across product engineering engagements. Drive delivery predictability, operational rigor, and continuous improvement Build and lead a global leadership team (Delivery Managers, Program Directors, Architects) Drive AI adoption leveraging GlobalLogic's VelocityAI and Commercial tools to drive engineering efficiency and best practices Strengthen vertical-specific engineering capabilities, accelerators, and IP Build and institutionalize delivery horizontal competencies to scale technology-driven capabilities. Guarantee consistent, high-quality delivery throughout the entire product engineering lifecycle (from concept and design through development, validation, deployment, and sustenance). Establish and run strong delivery governance, metrics, and review cadence Define and standardize delivery frameworks, best practices, and KPIs Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to the vertical
Domain Experience
Demonstrate deep domain experience spanning Healthcare and Life Sciences domains. HCLS Regulatory & Compliance Assurance: Maintain deep expertise in relevant global and regional HCLS regulatory frameworks (such as HIPAA, FDA, GDPR, and medical device regulations) to guarantee consistent adherence to quality, security, and regulatory requirements across all vertical engagements.Drive process maturity in alignment with ISO 13485 and medical-grade SDLC standards Domain-Centric Solutioning: Shape product engineering strategy through deep understanding of HCLS industry dynamics - spanningSaMD/digital therapeutics frameworks,EHR/EMR platforms, clinical and real-world data, interoperability frameworks, and AI-driven care models - translating industry shifts into competitive delivery advantages. Trusted Domain Advisory: Leverage deep domain insight to act as a trusted advisor to client CXOs and senior engineering leaders, translating complex HCLS business and clinical challenges into technically viable delivery and product strategies that drive client value and organic growth.2 Risk Mitigation for HCLS Programs: Proactively identify and manage delivery, commercial, and contractual risks inherent in HCLS projects, particularly those related to patient data privacy and critical system deployment. Vertical Capability Development: Strategically strengthen vertical-specific engineering capabilities, accelerators, and Intellectual Property (IP) by utilizing domain knowledge to build best practices and frameworks tailored for the HCLS sector.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted advisor to client CXOs and senior engineering leaders, leading and facilitating high-level meetings (executive reviews, steering committees, risk governance), and influencing both client and internal leadership to resolve conflicts and drive decisions. Act as the senior delivery sponsor for strategic and marquee accounts and proactively manage escalations, risks, and complex delivery situations Partner with Sales and Account Leaders on renewals, expansions, and large deal pursuits
- Financial & Commercial Management:
Manage vertical delivery P&L, driving revenue and optimizing financials; identifying and managing delivery, commercial, and contractual risks; and collaborating with sales/solutions teams to expand programs, manage renewals, and ensure client value. Support deal structuring, pricing, and solution shaping from a delivery risk and feasibility lens Drive efficiency through automation, reuse, and right-shoring strategies
The Ideal Candidate will have:
20+ years of experience in technology services, product engineering services, or digital engineering organizations. Minimum of 10 years of experience in delivery leadership, managing complex client engagements within the medical device industry. 7+ years in aglobal delivery leadership rolein managingmulti-million-dollar portfolioswith distributed global teams Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle, delivery models, and agile/SAFe practices Be a hands-on leader as a player/coach leading a team while still working hands-on with specific clients and projects Be a global leader embracing multiple cultures and navigating the local norms and cultures that come with a global delivery team Proven success in leading large-scale, intricate, and global engineering programs including commercial models spanning time & materials through output and fixed fee Demonstrated success in building and scaling delivery teams by establishing robust technology practices and delivery horizontals. Strong understanding of product engineering domains including software, platforms, cloud, data, AI, and embedded systems. Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders and influence outcomes at the board/CXO level. Strong financial acumen with experience owning large program P&Ls.

Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or another technical field. A Master's degree is strongly preferred. Experience: Prior experience working with large global system integrators or product engineering service providers.
