The Hydrographic Surveyor is expected to perform hydrographic surveys in a professional, timely, and safe manner, that satisfies the client's requirements. The Hydrographic Surveyor will be responsible for survey project planning, coordination, execution of fieldwork, and production of project deliverables. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This position requires up to 80% travel to project sites. Survey work may involve multiday field assignments, frequent mobilization to remote locations, and extended time on small vessels or along shorelines. Candidates should expect irregular schedules based on project demands, including early mornings, occasional weekends, and overnight travel. The role requires the ability to work safely in varying weather and environmental conditions, operate independently while traveling, and represent the organization professionally at all field locations.

The duties of this position require the employee to regularly sit, stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. This position may require the employee to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While in the field, the intern may be required to walk in rugged conditions, work in adverse weather conditions, and stand up to eight hours or more at a time. This position requires maintaining current industry knowledge and expertise through active involvement in professional organizations and/or other activities that may require additional and/or flexible working hours. The hourly pay range for positions in Kentucky is $24-$30 an hour, depending on education and relevant experience. DISCLAIMER
