Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Solution Advisor/Director to join our Supply Chain Advisory team as a leader/coach and team player. In this elevated role, you will provide enterprise-level architectural leadership, guiding customers through transformational supply chain strategies that integrate Blue Yonder's solutions across their broader technology ecosystems. You will shape long-term solution roadmaps, influence executive decision-making, and ensure architectural integrity across large, complex, and multi-solution engagements. This role is critical in driving customer value realization by delivering future-proof, scalable, and differentiated supply chain architectures that support customers' strategic objectives.

What you'll do

  • Lead and develop a cross-industry Solution Advisory team responsible for planning-centric solution strategy across Consumer Goods and Life Sciences, where scale, SKU complexity, channel diversity, and speed of response are critical to performance.
  • Establish and run the Solution Advisory practice, including capability standards, enablement plans, deal coaching, and progression paths across Intermediate, Senior, and Principal Solution Advisors.
  • Act as a hands-on solution leader for the most strategic and complex opportunities, personally shaping discovery, solution strategy, executive narratives, demonstrations, and value positioning.
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership and Advisory teams to qualify opportunities and position supply chain planning as a strategic performance capability in environments defined by demand volatility, promotion-driven spikes, service commitments, and margin pressure.
  • Serve as the design authority of record for complex pursuits, ensuring solution integrity, scalability, and alignment between what is sold and what can be delivered.
  • Define and institutionalize differentiation assets focused on consumer-goods use cases such as promotion planning, allocation, freshness management, network constraints, and rapid re-planning.
  • Drive enterprise value realization tied to service levels, inventory turns, freshness, cost-to-serve, and promotion performance while identifying value leakage and driving adoption.
  • Act as a bridge between field teams, product leadership, and executives by providing structured market and deal feedback to influence roadmap and go-to-market strategy.

What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain solution advisory, pre-sales, consulting, or enterprise solution architecture with ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams of solution advisors, consultants, or architects, combining coaching, enablement, and hands-on leadership.
  • Strong background in CPG, food, beverage and life sciences planning environments, with the ability to explain trade-offs across demand, supply, IBP, production, and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a player-coach, personally winning strategic deals while scaling the effectiveness of others.
  • Deep experience in enterprise pre-sales strategy, including opportunity qualification, executive engagement, and differentiation.
  • Ability to position planning platforms versus analytics-led approaches, clearly articulating value, scope boundaries, and long-term implications for customers.
  • Strong solution architecture and value-engineering mindset, connecting design decisions to measurable business outcomes.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence investment decisions, transformation roadmaps, and senior stakeholders.
  • Practical understanding of AI-assisted and agent-driven decision support, with sound judgment on responsible positioning and governance.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder solutions preferred; multi-platform or multi-industry experience is an advantage.

The base salary range for this position is $142,152 to $180,000 USD.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
