Overview The Social Media Content Producer is responsible for creating, producing, and managing high-quality visual and written content across all social media platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting and shaping the companys communications, driving engagement, and promoting messaging awareness through compelling and innovative storytelling. The position requires creativity, technical proficiency, and strong collaboration skills to ensure content aligns with corporate messaging and business objectives. Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and produce (shoot, edit, graphics) engaging content (videos, graphics, photography, copy) tailored for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Brand Voice: Maintain a consistent tone and visual identity across all channels using our established, brand visual and style guidelines.
- Content Calendar: Plan and manage monthly posting calendars to ensure timely and strategic content delivery.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay current with social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes to keep the company at the forefront of digital engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external partners to develop content strategies and execute campaigns.
- On-Site Production: Conduct interviews and capture visual content at job locations to highlight company initiatives and community programs.
- Analytics & Optimization: Track performance metrics using team tools and templates, compile reports, and provide analysis and actionable insights to improve messaging, engagement, and reach.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Provide strategic, actionable insights for content, copy, messaging and storytelling based on trends, analytics, best practices, department goals, business needs, and the media and political landscape.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related area and 4-6 years of content production and creation work exeprience for corporate social media channels.
Relevant Work Experience
- Proven experience successfully working as a member of a dynamic team with changing priories, required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, required.
- Demonstrated ability to write, fact-check, edit, and use a variety of multimedia for storytelling, required.
- Demonstrated ability to create interesting, clear, and creative content on complex topics for a variety of audiences, required.
- Demonstrated experience in social video filming and production, and proficiency in using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing software, required.
- Ability to take intangible asks and goals and convert them into actionable, strategic outputs, required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, required.
- Experience working with external partners and leveraging relationships for educational content including influencers, strategic partners, partner organizations, required.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and SEO best practices, required.
- Understanding of general communications channels (media, social media, email, intranet) and best uses of each, required.
- Availability for on-call rotations and emergency response coverage outside normal work hours, required.
- Ability to work a dynamic, hybrid schedule with on-site and in-the-field presence as needed, required.
