Basic Qualifications
Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. The position provides an opportunity to support the Trident LE program, one of our nation's fundamental defense systems. The selected candidate will work in the Optics Engineering team to perform technical assembly and test activities that impact the manufacturing of the Camera Detector Assembly (CDA) and Stable Member Optics Assembly (SMOA). The Optics Technician will enhance their skill set by working among a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues. The employee will also enjoy a flexible work environment where contributions are recognized and rewarded. The Optics Technician performs technical activities which include Camera Detector Assembly/Stable Member Optical Assemblies (CDA/SMOA) assembly, system-level test, detail design and manufacturing of advanced Optical/Electronics systems. This position requires attention to detail, an understanding of engineering terminology and excellent interpersonal skills.
Target salary range: USD $33.66/Hr. - USD $36.10/Hr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
