Electrician - JLL

What this job involves:

The Electrician is responsible for performing skilled electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and operational support across critical building systems. This handson role ensures electrical infrastructure is safe, reliable, and maintained in alignment with JLL standards, client expectations, and site regulatory requirements.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems up to 480V, including panels, breakers, MCCs, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and lighting.

  • Install, repair, and maintain conduit, wiring, outlets, switches, motors, controls, and associated components.

  • Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnostic tools, meters, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Support electrical requirements for HVAC/R equipment, pumps, boilers, chilled water systems, and mechanical equipment.

  • Maintain strict adherence to NFPA 70, NEC, and site-specific electrical safety procedures (including LOTO).

  • Work from electrical drawings, schematics, prints, and verbal instructions.

  • Support installation and startup of new equipment and system upgrades.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical components of BAS/BMS systems (power supplies, sensors, actuators).

  • Complete CMMS documentation accurately (PMs, corrective work orders, inspections).

  • Follow SOPs, GMP guidelines, and changecontrol processes where required.

  • Support electrical needs in controlled environments such as cleanrooms, laboratories, and temperatureregulated areas.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to facility alarms and service requests.

  • Perform minor facility tasks (lighting replacement, lowvoltage troubleshooting, resets).

  • Support shutdowns, outages, seasonal prep, and special projects as assigned.

  • Provide excellent customer service with clear communication and follow-through.

Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed Journeyman Electrician or applicable industrial electrician experience.

  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems up to 480V.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.

  • Experience using CMMS software for maintenance documentation.

  • Ability to work independently or in crossdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in GMP, manufacturing, or controlled environments.

  • Familiarity with validated or mission-critical equipment.

  • Experience with BAS/BMS electrical components and lowvoltage controls.

  • OSHA 10 or comparable electrical safety training.

  • Experience with generators, UPS systems, and emergency distribution.

  • Position supports a highreliability facility environment with regulated systems.

  • Accuracy in documentation and adherence to SOPs is essential.

  • Requires consistent onsite presence; may support additional rotations based on operational needs.

  • Crosstraining opportunities available in mechanical, HVAC, and BAS disciplines.

Location:

Onsite - New Albany, OH.

Work Shift:

40 hours a week | Full-Time (12hour shift options available)

Salary/ Comp:

$32 - $46,63 per hour | $67,000 - $97,000 + Overtime.
