Overview:

The Manager - Operations Finance will lead the financial analysis and reporting for Wendy's Company and Franchise restaurants, providing business partnership to Operations and the Franchisees. They will provide business and financial insights through sound, fact-based, well-reasoned analysis, identifying opportunities to improve operations and drive growth in the Restaurant Economic Model.

Responsibilities

• Reviews or prepares detailed financial analysis of various strategic initiatives including but not limited to THRIVE, Management Staffing modeling and restaurant productivity initiatives. Analysis to include impacts on sales, profitability, cash flows and capital.
• Manages key reporting of Company and/or Franchise financial results, identifying risks and/or opportunities for improvement. Benchmarks Company and Franchise data and ensures best practices are communicated across the System.
• Leads key components of the annual restaurant budgeting and monthly forecasting processes. Utilizes key insights from company/franchise benchmarking to inform target setting and financial goals.
• Ensure professional development of direct reports both through the Company's initiatives as well as day to day leadership and guidance.
• Reviews or prepares ad hoc analysis or reporting requested by the Operations function, the field teams and Franchisees.

• Solid knowledge and experience in the development and application of financial, analytical and budgetary techniques, including statistical analysis. Strong working knowledge of accounting, operations and analysis.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
• 5-7 years experience in financial analysis position with a large organization. Multi-unit restaurant and/or retail experience a plus.
• Experience with computer modeling, management reporting systems and computer applications with an ability to create and manage databases and excel based financial models.
• Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.

The base pay range for this position is $105,000-184,000/yr. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position.* The target annual bonus for this role is of 20% annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance. Director and above roles are also eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive award program.
