Genesis10 is currently seeking a Business Analyst / Financial Analyst for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is part of the Enterprise Capital Management Technology team, which supports the Capital Management function. The team is undergoing a technology transformation to build and adopt new capabilities for data ingestion, rules execution, and analytics. This is a greenfield project that requires meticulous design to replace multiple legacy applications and house critical regulatory programs like Basel IV and FRTB. Responsibilities: Participate in a technology transformation journey to build and adopt new capabilities for data ingestion, rules authoring, and analytics Contribute to the design of a greenfield project to replace multiple legacy applications Work with a team subject to multiple critical regulations and regulatory programs Identify risks and issues and suggest improvements Requirements: 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Financial Analyst Experience in a delivery-focused techno-functional role Good knowledge of SQL programming, preferably with databases such as Oracle Exadata Programming experience with Python or Java/.Net Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Deep understanding of Capital Markets with a focus on Credit Risk, Market Risk, or Capital calculations Understanding of regulations within the Capital Markets space (Basel, CRR, CRD IV, etc) Attention to detail and a self-starter Desired skills: Ability to read and understand Python code Ability to run reports in MicroStrategy Knowledge of Big Data Architectures and Cloud computing Knowledge of machine-learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods Exceptional intelligence and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
