Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Program Manager with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. The End of Life (EOL) Program Manager is responsible for establishing and leading a disciplined governance framework that ensures all EOL remediation activities are executed predictably, transparently, and within required timelines. This role provides centralized oversight across a complex technology estate, ensuring application teams develop achievable, well-planned remediation commitments and adhere to lifecycle deadlines. The Program Manager will drive multi-year planning, maintain strong partnerships with delivery and technology leaders, and ensure consistent communication of program performance, risks, and trends. Responsibilities:
- Ensure EOL governance routines occur within required SLAs
- Establish predictable, disciplined planning routines with application teams to support annual and multi-year planning
- Leverage annual planning windows to forecast full-year remediation needs
- Integrate EOL work into Program Increment (PI) planning cycles for iterative adjustments and inclusion of newly identified EOL items
- Partner closely with delivery leads to monitor project execution health, identify risks early, and ensure alignment with portfolio expectations
- Manage communication routines to inform stakeholders of performance trends, governance status, remediation roadmaps, and escalations
- Provide comprehensive reporting and insights to senior leaders to enable timely decision-making
- Communicate, influence, and negotiate both vertically and horizontally to secure required resources and ensure program objectives are met
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of governance routines, required deliverables, timelines, and processes
- Monitor adherence to remediation commitments and proactively intervene when risks threaten progress
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure clarity of expectations, roles, and responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to long-term strategic capabilities that strengthen EOL governance, planning, and transparency
- Ensure consistent, high-quality communication across all stakeholder groups
- Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant policies, lifecycle requirements, and remediation standards
- Support ongoing education and enablement activities to improve organizational understanding of EOL expectations and practices
- Provide oversight of program metrics, including performance thresholds, risks, and long-range forecasts
- Manage operational routines that ensure predictable execution and minimal disruption from unplanned remediation needs
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of Program or Change Management experience, including process improvement
- Experience managing programs and projects in an Agile environment
- Primary Skill: Agile Scrum Master
- Secondary Skill: Agile tools (Jira)
- Tertiary Skill: Business Analyst (Domain Experts)
- Executive-level written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong commitment to producing high-quality, accurate work
- Comfortable working under defined timelines in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
- Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to present complex matters clearly
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong business-centric mindset with sound judgment and the ability to tailor approaches to drive optimal business outcomes
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and guide teams through complex, multi-step initiatives
- Experience managing governance routines, workflows, or operational processes across multiple teams
- Ability to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions
- Demonstrated skill in coordinating across large technology organizations and aligning partners on common objectives
