Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer / Feature Lead - Hybrid for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. As a Software Engineer and Feature Lead, you will work alongside highly talented IVR developers who are passionate about delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable self-service solutions for the contact center. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support IVR applications operating in a modern Cloud environment, using proven engineering best practices and high-quality development standards. You will have the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor developers, and contribute to an agile team that values both innovation and execution. Responsibilities: Build and enhance IVR applications using modern engineering practices and Cloud technologies Collaborate with cross-functional partners to design solutions that align with strategic business goals Ensure high-quality code delivery through strong development, testing, and quality control practices Lead and mentor developers as part of an agile team, fostering a culture of learning and teamwork Troubleshoot, support, and continuously improve existing IVR applications to ensure optimal performance Participat e in planning, estimation, and technical discussions that guide the direction of our solutions Requirements: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience with complex applications Previous experience with Speech-enabled IVR development using Genesys or Nuance Framework Experience with Genesys IVR Experience with Java/JavaScript, Spring, Groovy & VXML Well-versed in using AI tools such as GitHub CoPilot Strong track record of delivering software through multiple full project implementations Experience leading developers within an agile, fast-paced engineering environment A commitment to engineering excellence, clean code, and scalable design Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to tackle complex challenges Desired skills: Familiarity in deploying contact center solutions in a private or public cloud environment Experience in building/deploying applications on MS Azure or OpenShift platform Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
