The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time psychiatrist (open rank) on the non-tenure Clinician-Educator track with a focus on inpatient care in our 29-bed facility located at our academic medical center campus in downtown Chicago. The candidate will join a rich, collaborative environment with other clinicians and scientists in the Feinberg School of Medicine and throughout the University.

Qualified candidates will have a strong clinical background with experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of mental disorders. They will also be board certified/eligible in Psychiatry (ABPN). Candidates that are board-eligible or certified in a subspecialty discipline such as Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Neuropsychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, etc. will be given special consideration. Successful applicants will have a commitment to undergraduate and graduate medical education combined with the desire and expertise to treat patients in all acute care settings and be able/willing to provide care in-person and via telehealth.

The start date is negotiable, and the position will remain open until filled.

The expected base pay range for this position is $225,000k - $300,000k.

Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
