Planning Community and Economic Development Support Specialist

The Lower Savannah Council of Governments, a regional planning and development agency located in Aiken, SC, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Support Specialist. The Specialist is an entry-level position designed to provide support across multiple program areas, including but not limited to community and economic development, transportation, housing and planning.  Duties include working within grant funding regulations and sources.  As well as counties and municipalities throughout a six county (Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Calhoun, Orangeburg) region.

Candidate must have excellent organizational, oral and written skills. Bachelor’s degree in planning, public administration, geography, political science preferred and two years’ work experience. www.lscog.org
