Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identifies and evaluates procedures to ensure the production of quality product.
  • Develops new and unique approaches to complex problems and can advance technology beyond previous achieved levels.
  • Applies engineering concepts to resolve acute or chronic problems.
  • Conducts studies to understand capability for process and/or measurement systems.
  • Provides management with technical guidance as required.
  • Identifies and develops appropriate documentation for process improvement and project implementation.
  • Maintains liaison with individuals and units within or outside the organization with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to their filed.
  • Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications.
  • Performs work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment.
  • Applies standard practices and techniques in specific situations, adjusts and correlates data.
  • Recognizes discrepancies in results and follows operations through a series of related detailed steps or processes.
  • Reviews test procedures and plans prior to implementation, conducts failure analysis and inspection on products, processes and materials.
  • Investigates, develops and implements new process technologies of moderate scope.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field required.

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years quality engineering experience, preferably in medical device or regulated manufacturing

Specialized Knowledge: Competence in the selection and use of Quality Engineering Tools and Techniques. Good knowledge in the interpretation and application of relevant Domestic and International Regulations and Industry Standards (e.g. ISO, QSR, UL, MDD, TGA etc.) Proficient in Microsoft Office and Minitab

Special Skills: Ability to work independently and in team environment. Ability to effectively communicate written and verbally. Ability to manage time effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.

Other: Certified Quality Engineering (CQE), Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE), Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), Certified Biomedical Auditor (CBA), or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt desired.

Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
