About This Role
K-State Olathe seeks part-time instructors to teach courses in the Veterinary Biomedical Sciences (VBS) Master's degree program during the Fall 2026 semester. Courses may be offered online in either a synchronous or asynchronous format, with asynchronous delivery preferred. Instruction should support graduate students pursuing advanced study in pathobiology and related veterinary biomedical sciences fields. This role is suited for individuals who can teach graduate-level coursework aligned with the interdisciplinary scope of the program, including areas such as infectious disease, immunology of domestic animals, epidemiology, regulatory affairs, vaccinology, veterinary virology, and related biomedical sciences. This is a non-tenure-track faculty appointment with instructional responsibilities only. Positions are temporary, part-time (maximum 0.45 FTE), and not benefits eligible. Appointments are for one semester and may be renewed based on program need, funding, performance, and enrollment. About Us Kansas State University's Olathe campus was launched in April 2011 and is the newest campus in the university's system. Located in Johnson County within the Greater Kansas City metropolitan area, K-State Olathe serves as a hub for industry-connected education and workforce development. Worksite Description This position is Remote eligible. This position is primarily online, with courses delivered in either synchronous or asynchronous formats depending on program need. Asynchronous instruction is preferred. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho. What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: * Master's degree in veterinary biomedical sciences, pathobiology, immunology, infectious disease, toxicology, epidemiology, animal sciences, or a closely related field The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level.
