Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RRB/ITC) is a dynamic hub for government, business, commerce and the community, in the heart of the nation's capital. As the first and only federal building dedicated to both public and private use, the Reagan Building is the official World Trade Center Washington, DC, featuring a premier conference and events center, executive office space, attractions and exhibits, retail, dining, parking and public programming.

Trade Center Management Associates (TCMA, A Drew Company), the exclusive manager of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, is seeking a Concierge to join our team. The role of Concierge is, at its core, one of customer service and information assistance. Helping guests, visitors, tenants and clients with directions and information is the primary function of this position. The Concierge is, in essence, an "ambassador" for the building and for TCMA.


Essential Functions
  • Greet guests and visitors in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Provide accurate information about events in the building and become familiar with the building and the various agencies, offices and entities there within
  • Give clear and understandable directions to the various event spaces and offices within the building
  • Escort guests and event attendees when deemed appropriate
  • Act as the "Front Desk" for the building at large
  • Provide support to Sales and Events by maintaining up-to-date listings of events in the building
  • Help with crowd flow during periods of busy foot traffic
  • Familiarize oneself with the surrounding area and the city in general, including museums and attractions
  • Communicate with other team members any information that may be helpful
  • Reach out to management, when necessary, when further assistance is required
Candidate's Requirements
  • Experience in dealing with the public in customer facing roles with a diverse range of people from all backgrounds
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and handle situations appropriately
    Good communication and interpersonal skills, including reading, writing and verbal
  • Basic knowledge of computers (ability to utilize email and perform Internet searches)
    Able to work a variable schedule that may change according to business needs
    Must be adaptable, professional and courteous
    Languages - additional language skills a plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience in a customer facing role
