About the Role We are seeking a Sanitation Technician to join our team at our Van Nuys, CAbakery. In this role, you will be accountable for maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant facility by executing sanitation processes that support food safety, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. Shift & Schedule Shift: 3rd Shift Hours: 10:00pm-6:30am, Sunday + Monday off Compensation Hourly Rate: $20.15 - $21.90 Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all buildings, including walls, ceilings, floors, and common areas Clean and sanitize production equipment, refrigeration units, proofers, freezers, and spiral coolers Execute exterior facility cleaning to support overall plant standards and safety Manage and restock sanitation and restroom supplies across all buildings Safely store, handle, and oversee cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment Support food safety, quality, legality, and regulatory compliance standards Perform additional sanitation-related duties and special projects as assigned Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) High school diploma or GED (preferred but not required) Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, bending, and working in cold or wet environments Ability to follow sanitation procedures and safety protocols Willingness to work 3rd shift Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) Previous experience in a baking or food manufacturing environment Familiarity with sanitation chemicals and equipment Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices Aspire Bakeries LLC values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed in this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
