TITLE: Warehouse Attendant LOCATION: Donaldsonville, LA POSITION REPORTS TO: Terminal Manager SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm. Some overtime and weekends maybe required COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience, position, and location RESPONSIBILITIES * Execute loading and unloading operations * Inspect and verify products before storing in warehouse * Deliver, stock, fulfill, and count inventory * Keep work area neat and organized * Work with a team to ensure quality, delivery and timeliness of orders are met * Maintain and service company equipment * Assist with will call and warehouse staging * Operate forklift to handle products and warehouse materials * Operate pumps, motors, and electrical devices * Maintain a safe work environment in accordance with established safety procedures and practices * Other tasks and projects as assigned by manager BASIC REQUIREMENTS * Valid driver's license and a good driving record * Have at least 6 months warehouse experience * Must be local (live within 60 miles) * Courteous and professional demeanor * Ability to communicate in English well enough to perform the job duties * Ability to work productively without constant supervision * Stable employment history * Previous experience operating a forklift effectively * Must be able to work overtime and weekends * Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions * Ability to exert 50-100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10-20 pounds of force constantly * Ability to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder PREFERRED * Experience with dehydration and filtering of oil and fuels * Experience working on pumps, motors, and filtering * Experience with inventory control devices such as handheld scanners and electronic order systems Sun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
