MTSI is seeking an experienced Product Support Management (PSM) Integrated Product Support Element (IPSE) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The PSM SME's primary focus will be active engagement and integration of 12 IPSE's within program and across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure full integration of Product Support activities across entire Program Group.
Responsibilities
  • Direct support to Product Support Manager (PSM); apply Product Support knowledge to perform various tasks related to the planning, development, implementation, management, and integration of IPSEs across entire program.
  • Assist in producing or reviewing documents for program office use that support the breadth of acquisition and sustainment logistics efforts.
  • Develop, modify, prepare, and/or validate program documentation in relation to Product Support.
  • Integrate team efforts across the organizational functionals to ensure other IPTs are designing interoperability with Product Support into their functional areas
  • Participate in IPT meetings, program management reviews, and other related meetings.
  • Advise IPTs on the information exchange requirements for logistics and maintenance data integration into USAF enterprise logistics IT systems.
  • Identify, review, and analyze deficiencies and engineering change proposals (ECPs) in accordance with the weapons system and associated contracts.
  • Review and analyze deficiency reports (DRs) and assist in conducting root cause analyses to identify any problems and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate between various IPTs to drive Product Support package maturation.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
  • 5+ years of Product Support Manager (PSM) experience in Air Force Program Office; vast experience in all 12 IPSE's required
  • Experience with field-level operations or direct involvement in the design, development, or maintenance of Air Force weapons systems is highly desirable
  • Understanding of requirements, specifically as they pertain to USAF maintenance operations, and the ability to identify, analyze, and translate data into actionable tasks
  • Certified acquisition professional desired
  • Strong Communication Skills - written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a very fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Preferred experience in Special Access Programs (SAP) environments
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, or related fields. Professional experience combined with non-related majors is acceptable, with minors in related fields preferred
  • Must have an active Secret or Top-Secret clearance and be able to attain a Top-Secret Security Clearance.Duties will require unescorted entry and work within classified SAP and SCI facilities.
Please Note: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to contract requirements.
