Summary:

Contribute to Hollister's growth, profitability, and continuity by supporting the development and commercialization of newmedicalproducts, technology, and equipment.Support project teams for new product launches and changes to existing products. Support global manufacturing through process optimization. Support business unit and departmental continuous improvementobjectives.

Responsibilities:



  • Apply basic knowledge under supervision, on concepts,principlesand technical capabilities for projects of limited scope and complexity.





  • Support cross-functional projects for new product commercialization and changes to existing products.





  • Establish and manage commercial engineering project schedules.





  • Develop andvalidatemanufacturing processes through laboratory test equipment.





  • Write and coordinate technical documentation, including protocols, reports, procedures, specifications, work instructions, and original data.





  • Assistancewith design and testing of pilot or mockup processes for Proof of Principle work.





  • Conduct laboratory testing.



Requirements:




  • 0-2 years overall experience





  • Technical writingand verbal communicationskills





  • Familiarwith SolidWorks/CAD, lean Six Sigma principles, statistical analysis tools, Design of Experiments, MS Office





  • Sophomore or Juniorin college/university- currentlyenrolled





  • Experience with lathes, mills, CNC machines, and 3D printers is preferred





  • Fluent in English
