We are seeking a forward-thinking Information Technology (IT) Manager to lead and optimize our internal technology environment in close partnership with our managed service provider. This role is responsible for ensuring that all systems, infrastructure, and support functions align with our core values of Deploy Faster, Operate with Confidence, and Design with Purpose.

What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for all IT matters, coordinating day-to-day needs, escalations, and project work with SelectTech's managed service provider.
- Drive IT initiatives by optimizing workflows, accelerating technology implementations, and improving system responsiveness across the organization.
- Create and maintain clear IT policies, configuration standards, disaster recovery procedures, and user-facing training materials.
- Identify, evaluate, and implement technology solutions, supporting long-term scalability and organizational growth.
- Deliver and operationalize generative AI / LLM use cases (e.g., enterprise search, summarization, agent workflows, document Q&A) to support business objectives.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures leveraging vector databases to support scalable AI solutions.
- Lead IT project planning, resource allocation, and vendor coordination to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring timely and compliance account provisioning in Microsoft 365 GCC High, company networks, and associated systems.
- Coordinate with our managed service provider on identity and access management, including MGA/2MFA enforcement, conditional access policies, and role-based access controls.
- Maintain system access controls and conduct periodic audits to ensure users and systems Operate with Confidence through proper security alignment.
- Manage the provisioning, configuration, and deployment of laptops, workstations, and associated hardware to ensure employees receive purpose-built tools aligned with their role.
- Maintain accurate hardware/software inventory to reduce downtime, optimize lifecycle management, and support Design with Purpose technology planning.
- Develop, document, and optimize troubleshooting procedures that contribute to predictable and reliable IT service delivery.
- Oversee the company's LAN/WAN infrastructure, WiFi systems, VPNs, and remote access tools, ensuring consistent performance and secure connectivity across all locations.
- Implement infrastructure improvements, focusing on reliability, scalability, and long-term stability.
- Support cabling projects, network documentation, and vendor coordination.
- Lead efforts to maintain a secure computing environment through robust cybersecurity practices, ensuring the organization can Operate with Confidence in all digital operations.
- Oversee CMMC control implementation, system monitoring, vulnerability mitigation, and audit-readiness.
- Manage the patching lifecycle to maintain device integrity, reduce risks, and comply with security policies.
- Ensure documentation supports streamlined operations and efficient troubleshooting.
- Oversee the reliable setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of office peripherals-including printers, scanners, and conference room AV systems-ensuring employees can collaborate and communicate seamlessly.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 5-7+ years of progressive IT experience, including systems administration, network support, and hands-on technical troubleshooting.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification desirable
- Significant experience supporting CMMC, NIST 800-171, DFARS, or similar defense-industry cybersecurity frameworks
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 GCC High environments.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major AI platform and orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain).
- Experience with LAN/WAN systems, VPNs, firewalls, Wi-Fi architecture, and network security fundamentals.
- Strong understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases
- Strong proficiency in Office 365 administration, MFA/2MFA solutions, Windows environments, and endpoint management.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Familiarity with installing PC software, to include imaging, and Windows 11 operating systems.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a "customer service" mindset.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with network security principles and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain at least a DoD Secret security clearance.
