About the Opportunity: As a Quality Engineer I, you will provide support to operational and development programs to enable and deliver zero defect projects utilizing engineering and problem-solving skills. This role also supports the development and implementation of quality processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. As Quality Engineer I you will also assist with inspections, testing, non-conformance management, and documentation. Location: Prescott Az Responsibilities: Support writing procedure, collecting and analyzing data. Support in implementing and maintaining the quality management system. (AS9100, AS13100, NADCAP) Support the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Utilize Quality Engineering tools like PFMEA, Measurement System Analysis, and Control Plans to monitor and improve internal processes. Work with cross-functional teams to identify the root causes of quality issues implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Assist in evaluating supplier performance and quality, supporting supplier audits, and assisting with the development of quality improvement plans. Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues and improve overall product quality. Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, LEAN, etc. Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system and customer requirements. Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc. Required Qualifications: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis. Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations. Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 year of quality engineering experience Aerospace experience. Understanding of quality principles and methodologies. Experience and training in quality systems including AS9100 and NADCAP Proficiency in quality management systems, process validation, and customer specifications. Experience working with CAD, QMS and ERP software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to guide junior team members effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and with customers. Working Conditions Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk. Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds. Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
