About the Role
The Regional Commercial Leader is responsible for ensuring the short- and long-term success of the Performance Solutions business within the Americas. This role drives profitable growth through strong commercial execution, strategic alignment, and customer-centric leadership. Responsible for sales, marketing and customer support strategy and execution. Success is measured by sales contribution margin and revenue growth, achieved through a clear regional vision and alignment with product management. The Regional Commercial Leader is responsible for defining and executing the commercial strategy for a complex B2B industrial enterprise. The role drives profitable growth across five end-markets by aligning sales, pricing, channels, and customer strategy with longterm enterprise objectives.
This leader operates at the intersection of strategy and execution-owning revenue, margin, and market positioning while building scalable commercial capabilities across regions and segments.
This role is located in Newark, Delware with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities
Commercial & GotoMarket Strategy
- Define and own the commercial strategy across direct sales and distributors.
- Segment markets and customers by industry, application, and value potential; align coverage models accordingly.
- Translate enterprise strategy into clear gotomarket plans for the five end-markets and product portfolios.
- Lead multiyear growth planning, including penetration of strategic accounts and priority end markets.
Shape Vision & Lead Business Strategy
- Define and execute regional commercial strategy aligned to growth priorities
- Identify product, customer, and market opportunities
- Align regional plans with product portfolios and market teams
- Lead cross-functional stakeholders to execute strategic priorities
Organize for Business Success
- Build an agile, high-performing commercial organization
- Ensure scalable and consistent business processes
- Drive strong business, customer, and associate outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- A minimum of 12 years in senior commercial, sales, or general management roles within industrial B2B environments
- Experience leading a marketing team creating and executing strategic growth plans
- Deep commercial leadership experience in B2B industrial, manufacturing or engineered products environments
- Strong understanding of long sales cycles, complex buying groups, and tenderbased selling
- Advanced pricing, contract, and deal economics expertise
- Executivelevel negotiation and stakeholder influencing skills
- High financial literacy with P&L ownership experience
- Ability to lead globally and crossculturally
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced commercial training
- Exposure to regulated or safetycritical industries (energy, infrastructure, aerospace, industrial automation, etc.)
- Track record of commercial transformation or commercial excellence initiatives
- Experience working with distributors, OEMs, and systems integrators
