Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a lively retail and entertainment location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support guests and staff through clear communication, teamwork, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects our values of integrity, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following site-specific policies, supporting access and queue management, and assisting with security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with local management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the entertainment venue, including guest areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and observe unusual conditions.
• Monitor for policy violations, disorderly behavior, and/or suspicious activity, and document observations and incidents according to site protocols.
• Support a welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and other property-related concerns that could impact daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
