This role may include routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitor and contractor access, and document arrivals, departures, and other access-related activity according to post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts, supervisors, and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Support traffic flow at gates and controlled areas by directing vehicles, checking shipping paperwork and/or delivery information, and reporting discrepancies, hazards, and maintenance issues through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
