As a Commercial Relationship Manager I, you will:



  • Work with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Operate as an effective communicator, who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
  • Manage detailed financial and credit-related work with accuracy, timeliness, and withing established guidelines.
  • Support and adhere to established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


As a Commercial Relationship Manager I, you will have an opportunity to develop new business relationships while managing and growing an assigned portfolio of commercial clients. This role focuses on driving revenue through client acquisition, relationship expansion, and delivering a full suite of banking solutions, while maintaining sound credit practices and regulatory compliance.



  • Build and manage a portfolio of commercial clients through proactive business development and relationship management.
  • Manage client relationships generally within defined portfolio parameters, including credit exposure and revenue expectations appropriate for the role.


  • Identify client needs and deliver lending, depository, and Treasury Management solutions.
  • Analyze financial information and structure appropriate credit solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on production, pipeline management, and loan closings.
  • Participate in community and business functions to enhance the Bank's visibility and generate referral opportunities.


Minimum Requirements: This position requires the following educational and/or job experience:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial banking or related financial services experience
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management



Desired Skills: Ideal candidates for this position should possess some or all of the following skills:



  • MBA or advanced business-related degree
  • 6+ years of commercial banking experience
  • Bilingual language skills
  • Strong understanding of commercial credit, financial analysis, and accounting principles
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements (including BSA/OFAC)
  • Strong networking skills and community involvement
  • Passion for delivering exceptional client service and building long-term relationships
  • Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately
  • Ability to think logically and make sound decisions
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Capacity to work with multiple systems and software platforms
