Prospect - Security Screener

Job Description:
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure warehouse environment by monitoring access points, controlling entry, and ensuring compliance with company security protocols. This position plays a critical role in preventing unauthorized access, protecting company assets, and ensuring the safety of all personnel and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all entry and exit points to the warehouse facility
• Verify employee and visitor credentials, including badges and identification
• Check in and log all visitors, vendors, and contractors in accordance with company procedures
• Conduct routine security screenings and inspections as required
• Maintain accurate records of daily activity, including incident reports and visitor logs
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, security breaches, or safety concerns
• Enforce company policies related to access control and security compliance
• Coordinate with management and emergency services when necessary
• Monitor surveillance systems and report irregularities
• Ensure all individuals entering the facility are authorized and properly documented

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous security or access control experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Basic computer skills for logging and reporting

Work Environment:
This role is primarily stationed at the warehouse entrance, requiring prolonged periods of standing, monitoring foot traffic, and interacting with employees and visitors. The position may require working flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

To ensure only authorized individuals gain access to the warehouse while maintaining a secure, efficient, and professional entry process.
