Position Summary The *Credentialing & Provider Enrollment Specialist* supports the provider onboarding process by ensuring all credentialing and enrollment requirements are met in compliance with regulatory, payer, and organizational standards. This role plays a key part in enabling timely reimbursement by maintaining accurate, complete, and compliant provider files throughout the credentialing and enrollment lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities * Verify provider credentials, including *licenses, certifications, education, training, work history, board certifications, and malpractice history*, to ensure compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. * Collect, review, and validate credentialing documentation to confirm completeness and accuracy prior to submission. * Perform reviews of *pending credentialing files* to determine provider readiness for presentation to the Credentialing Review Board. * Support initial credentialing and ongoing enrollment workflows to ensure providers are approved and billable within required timeframes. * Maintain accurate records and tracking of credentialing status, updates, and approvals within credentialing systems. * Ensure adherence to internal policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory guidelines throughout the credentialing process. * Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to facilitate smooth onboarding and resolve discrepancies that may delay approval or reimbursement. Required Qualifications * Experience in *provider credentialing and/or provider enrollment* within a healthcare environment. * Strong understanding of credentialing criteria, regulatory standards, and payer requirements. * High attention to detail with the ability to analyze documentation for completeness and compliance. * Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple provider files simultaneously. * Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 2+ years of experience in healthcare credentialing or provider enrollment. Familiarity with credentialing systems (e.g., CAQH, PECOS, Availity). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mountain View, CA. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
