As a SAP IBP Business Systems Analyst at Penumbra, you will play a critical role in determining the company's long term goals. The SAP IBP Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying SAP IBP for Demand, Supply, Inventory, and S&OP in alignment with Penumbra's business processes. This role will partner with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, and Finance teams to enable a best-in-class planning solution supporting growth, product availability, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
* Lead SAP IBP design workshops related to any enhancement or implementation with global business stakeholders.
* Translate planning requirements into IBP configuration, including planning areas, key figures, attributes, planning views, and algorithms. * Configure and test IBP modules including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP. * Drive integration with SAP S/4 HANA, ECC, BW, and middleware tools (CPI, PI/PO, BTP). * Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and create functional specs. * Partner with Supply Chain (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Scheduling, Logistics) to support future process maturity. * Communicate IBP capabilities and deliver solution demos to business teams. * Support change management activities including training and system adoption. * Support IBP implementation lifecycle: Design Build Test Deploy Hypercare. * Create and execute test scripts, UAT plans, and cutover strategies. * Monitor job execution, planning runs, and troubleshoot IBP issues during hypercare. * Provide Level 2/3 support post go-live. * Support enhancements, new planning scenarios, KPI development, and analytics. * Maintain planning calendars, configuration documentation, and knowledge repository. * Educate and mentor other IT and business users in process and application design. * Perform configurations within the SAP Operations modules, coordinating closely with small team of other SAP BSAs and Developers (on-site and in India). What You Bring
* A Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
* 5+ years' experience in SAP IBP implementation or support * One IBP implementation experience (S&OP/R&S) * Hands-on configuration experience in at least two IBP modules (Demand, Supply, Inventory, Response & Supply, S&OP). * Experience with IBP Control Tower, Planning Operators, and Excel Add-In. * Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes (Demand Forecasting, MPS, MRP, Inventory Optimization, Allocation). * Experience integrating IBP with S/4 or ECC using CPI, CI-DS, or other middleware. * Ability to work with Agile delivery methods (sprints, backlog, demos). * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Understanding of one or more SAP modules: EWM, MM, PP * Experience in life sciences or medical device industry (FDA regulated). * Knowledge of GxP environments, validation, and documentation processes. * Understanding of master data governance (Materials, Locations, Planning BOMs). * Strong oral, written and interpersonal communications skills required * High degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and other standard office tools Working Conditions
General office environment. Willingness and ability to work on site. Requires some lifting and moving of up to 5 pounds. Must be able to move between buildings and floors. Must be able to remain stationary and use a computer or other standard office equipment, such as a printer or copy machine, for an extensive period of time each day. Must be able to read, prepare emails, and produce documents and spreadsheets. Must be able to move within the office and access file cabinets or supplies, as needed. Must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information with employees at all levels on a daily basis.
Base Pay Range Per Hour: $63.46 - $110.58 / hour
Individual compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, work location and shift, and will increase over time based on meeting performance and business needs. What We Offer
