The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $26.75 - $35.00 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

This is What You Will do in This Role:

  • Advise and assist managers on EHS matters, including gathering facts, identifying problems, and offering objective mentorship and solutions.

  • Serve as a representative for employees and a collaborator with management by keeping open communication with internal customers, addressing EHS needs/issues, and working with management to find solutions.

  • Address and resolve employee EHS complaints effectively.

  • Build and implement major EHS initiatives to enhance or improve existing policies, products, and methods.

  • Maintain administrative responsibilities, including records/file maintenance and report development.

  • Identify resource needs, develop justifications, and troubleshoot EHS issues at installation sites.

  • Conduct EHS audits for installation sites and report issues using Dematic's standard format.

  • Communicate daily with installation site management/supervision on EHS issues.

  • Set up and maintain current bulletin and posting displays for Federal, State, and Local regulations.

  • Perform crew safety talks and coordinate both new and refresher safety training.

  • Coordinate equipment training and issue operator permits to proficient personnel.

  • Provide daily instructions and reminders regarding PPE and safety policies to the crew.

  • Maintain all OSHA/Dematic compliance forms, including OSHA 300 logs, daily walk-throughs, first aid logs, weekly safety meetings, first aid inspections, fire extinguisher inspections, harness/lanyard and ladder inspections, and ensure first aid cabinets and fire extinguishers are stocked and functional.

  • Perform multiple daily walk-throughs to ensure site safety.

  • Conduct safety briefings as needed for projects, Dematic requirements, and customer specifications.

  • Be on-site as required by the crew's work schedule, which may include all subcontractors and split schedules, potentially resulting in 12-14 hour days.

  • Coordinate first aid as needed or seek medical assistance for injuries.

  • Maintain current OSHA 500, AED, and first aid training certifications.

  • Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial.

What We are Looking For:

  • Specialized skill training or certification may be required, with OSHA 500 preferred.

  • Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in EHS, with a basic understanding of how they interact with other areas of the company.

  • Ability to identify and solve routine problems and seek advice for non-routine or complex issues.

  • Excellent consultation and communication skills with all levels at an installation job site.
