About this role:

Over see work flow of assigned group of Quality Control employees. On the job training of new employees. Ensure that all product and corresponding paperwork meet requirements and specifications. Perform actual inspection or release activities, where needed.

Work Mode

At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.

Your responsibilities will include:



  • Perform product release activities for products being processed through the Quality Control Department; including performing actual inspection functions to written procedures and specifications, and review of sterilization process documentation and other data. This is to include the paperwork (DHR's/inspection reports/data forms and release forms). Communication with multifunctional groups (both within Quincy, at other BSC facilities and outside vendors) on load status and quality related activities. Leads the activities involving the release of new product lines, control of pre-release locations, control of the quarantine location, control of short shelf life products, scrap activities, control of quality records, Material review board activities and control/processing of nonconforming material.
  • Assign and prioritize work flow and work force for an assigned group of Quality Control inspectors. This includes the assignment of tasks.
  • Provide on the job instruction/training to QC inspectors to the written/approved procedures/specifications. This includes coaching for the employees. Provide assistance to QC inspectors with problems or questions.
  • Support Quality Assurance in tracking and achieving metrics.
  • Performs other duties, such as assistance with general questions/problems, identification/implementation of process improvements, leading of projects, providing input to performance reviews, enforcement/support of company policies/procedures and other duties of staff as assigned.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.
  • May oversee incoming receipt, storage and disposition of clinical/recall product. Ensure that all product and corresponding paperwork meets requirements and specifications.
