Are you passionate about community impact, public health, and making a difference where it matters most? The University of New Mexico is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, organized Outreach Clinical Coordinator to support the innovative Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program (RESEP).

The Outreach Clinic Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting clinical operations and advancing community-based outreach efforts. This position works collaboratively with patients, faculty, residents, staff, and community partners to coordinate programs, manage logistics, and ensure the successful implementation of RESEP initiatives.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate scheduling, patient engagement, and clinic logistics
  • Assists with program documentation, reporting, and compliance requirement
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support high-quality care delivery Plan, coordinate, and participate in outreach events, health fairs, and educational initiatives focused on radiation exposure awareness and prevention
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and stakeholders
  • Promote program services and increase community awareness and participation
  • Support culturally responsive and community-centered programming
  • Assist with Radiation Exposure Screening and Education Program (RESEP) grant activities, including data tracking, reporting, and program evaluation
  • Collect and manage data using systems such as REDCap or similar platforms
  • Help prepare materials, presentations, and reports for stakeholders and leadership
  • Provide general administrative support, including communications, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Assist with onboarding, coordination, and support of residents and trainees Contribute to continuous quality improvement and program development efforts

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in healthcare, public health, community outreach, or program coordination preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel ,PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for community health, environmental health, and health equity Experience with data systems (e.g., REDCap) and Microsoft Office

Conditions of Employment
  • CPR certification may be a requirement for some positions in this classification.


Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.



Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills
  • Experience in establishing, maintaining, and updating files, databases, records, and other documents
  • Experience scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, patients, guest speakers, and conferences, outreach activities
  • Team player with the ability to also be resourceful and work effective independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


Additional Requirements
This position typically travels 3-5 times a year outside of Albuquerque in NM for outreach activities, must be available, and have reliable transportation.
