Overview
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking an Accounting/Contracts Analyst Intern to support financial operations and reporting activities across the organization. This role provides hands-on experience in corporate accounting, financial analysis, and business processes within a professional services environment.
This internship offers practical exposure to real-world accounting functions. Interns will work alongside experienced accounting and contracts professionals to assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives while gaining insight into corporate financial management practices.
This internship will be performed in a hybrid telework model, with onsite work at our Reston, VA office as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related degree program
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, spreadsheets)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial data and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
