Here's what we're looking for.

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in fabrication, machining, or finishing operations
• Hands-on experience with fabrication equipment, tube lasers, or industrial washing systems
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and process improvement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with passivation, chemical cleaning, or surface treatment processes
• Experience supporting greenfield startups or large equipment installations
• Familiarity with automation systems and laser cutting technology
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup, layout, installation, and commissioning of fabrication and finishing equipment
• Support equipment selection, procurement, validation, and production startup activities
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for fabrication, cleaning, washing, and passivation operations
• Create and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and process documentation
• Establish process controls, inspection points, and quality standards to ensure repeatable production results
• Support tube laser setup, programming coordination, troubleshooting, and process optimization
• Collaborate with Engineering, Facilities, EHS, and automation vendors on equipment installations and upgrades
• Improve material flow, fixturing, and automated handling systems
• Troubleshoot production, equipment, and quality issues to minimize downtime and scrap
• Analyze manufacturing data including cycle times, yield, uptime, scrap, and rework metrics
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, SMED, and poka-yoke activities
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and chemical handling requirements
