Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Welding Technician, you'll play a key role in repairing and rebuilding equipment structures and components:

  • Perform welding processes including Stick, MIG, and Flux
  • Fabricate and repair equipment and attachments
  • Complete layout, measurements, and fabrication from prints and drawings
  • Create patterns or layouts when drawings are not available
  • Perform structural repairs on major components (booms, sticks, etc.)
  • Select proper materials and welding methods based on repair requirements
  • Set up and maintain welding and fabrication equipment
  • Assist with general equipment repairs and component installation when needed
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment


Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Welding and/or fabrication experience (heavy equipment preferred)
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Strong understanding of welding materials and methods
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Your own tools

(Machining, line boring, or heavy equipment experience is a plus)
