Job Title: Configuration Management (CM) Specialist
Location: Cape Canaveral, Florida
Employment Type: Contract-to-hire after 4-6 months of employment
Industry: Aerospace
Compensation: $33.00-$37.00 (DOE)
Schedule: 9/80 work week.
What you'll do:
The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist follows procedures for and executes the introduction of changes to engineering documents. SolidWorks experience is highly preferred
  • Supports the introduction and execution of released engineering change data and change documentation activities to ensure adherence to configuration management procedures and policies.
  • SolidWorks experience
  • Interacts with engineering staff to understand and implement drawing changes in accordance with configuration management processes and procedures.
  • Maintains records in the configuration management system to ensure compliance with processes and policies.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in configuration management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with tools such as SolidWorks, MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience with PDM Vault and SolidWorks, preferred
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • The ability to work well under deadlines.
    Strong digital, written, and spoken communication skills, especially in the context of working with hardware engineers and mechanical engineers.
