We're looking for an energetic, customer-focused Catering Sales Manager to drive catering and event sales while delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hospitality, enjoys building client relationships, and has a passion for creating memorable events.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow catering and event business within assigned market segments.
  • Prospect, solicit, and book new business while maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Meet with clients to plan and coordinate event details from start to finish.
  • Create proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
  • Recommend menus and services that meet client needs while maximizing revenue.
  • Conduct property tours and showcase hotel features and event capabilities.
  • Welcome clients during events and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
  • Follow up after events to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and local attractions.
  • Collaborate closely with hotel departments to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Support the Director of Sales & Marketing with daily Catering Department operations.
  • Attend BEO meetings, staff meetings, tastings, and other scheduled events.
  • Maintain compliance with all company, franchise, and hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Catering, Sales, or Convention Services.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Knowledge of banquet operations, room setups, and event planning procedures.
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing tools.
  • Hospitality, food service, or culinary experience is a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Schedule Requirements

Flexible availability required, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts based on business needs.
