The Functional Exercise Support Staff is responsible for providing support in a functional exercise therapy office. These duties may include, assisting staff, maintaining clean and safe environment, assisting with client transfers/guarding, inventory and stocking supplies, and equipment maintenance and upkeep. May additionally have involvement and/or oversight of specialized equipment or programs in the office. Responsibilities Critical: Prepare clients to see fitness trainers Maintain appropriate inventory of supplies for the practice Clean and stock supplies Occasional back up to the front desk Cleaning and upkeep of equipment and supplies Ensure clean and safe treatment environment Assist fitness trainers with testing protocols and client care as appropriate General equipment upkeep and maintenance Assist fitness trainers with client transfers/guarding Other duties as assigned Professional Development: Seeks professional growth opportunities that enhance professional practice through both formal and informal activities Updates knowledge, skills, and abilities through continuing education Anticipated Compensation: $16.97-$20.00 hourly This is a wage position which is not eligible for leave or other benefits and is limited to 1500 hours of work in a year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in related field of study (kinesiology, exercise physiology, athletic training, etc.) Experience: Previous clinical office experience preferred Licensure: None. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Busy and fast paced environment. Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Repetitive motion; computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs.
