Division Director, Pediatric Hospital Medicine The Division Director of Pediatric Hospital Medicine provides clinical, operational, academic, and strategic leadership for the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Division within the Department of Pediatrics. This role oversees inpatient pediatric services across affiliated hospital sites and is responsible for advancing high-quality, evidence-based, family-centered care, faculty development, education, quality improvement, and program growth. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership
- Oversee inpatient pediatric clinical operations and standards of care.
- Lead initiatives to improve quality, safety, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and subspecialty services to optimize care coordination.
Administrative Leadership
- Provide strategic direction for divisional growth and program development.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and foster a collaborative, inclusive culture.
- Participate in departmental and institutional leadership initiatives.
Academic & Educational Leadership
- Support education and mentorship for trainees and faculty.
- Promote scholarly activity, research, innovation, and professional development.
Quality & Operational Oversight
- Lead quality improvement, patient safety, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Monitor clinical and operational performance metrics.
- Partner with hospital leadership on financial planning, workflow optimization, and resource utilization.
SalaryRange $260,000-$290,000 The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual salary may not fall within the listed salary range; consideration will be made for experience, training, hospital/community need, and other factors. Prospective candidate

- Physician with a strong track record of leadership, clinical excellence, and academic achievement.
- Eligible for medical licensure inNew York.
