Role Type:

Full-time, Exempt

Salary: The base salary range is $150,000 - $170,000 per year + annual performance-based bonus

Actual compensation offered will be determined individually, based on several job-related factors, including location, skills, licensure, experience, and education.

Summary:

Hands-on delivery Product Owner for AI-enabled products and workflows, translating needs into delivery-ready epics/features/stories and driving sprint execution through release. In support of the VP, AI Product Management and VP, AI Experience, this role also helps drive responsible adoption through AI literacy and enablement (e.g., in-product guidance, training assets, and change communications) aligned to experience standards.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree fromaccrediteduniversity in business administration, science technology, engineering and mathematics, computer science, data science and information systems preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) isrequired.

Responsibilities:

Own and execute the delivery backlog for AI products and experiences

  • Own and prioritize the day-to-day backlog, keeping items well-defined and delivery-ready while aligning sequencing with AI Product and AI Experience leadership.

Elicit requirements and write clear user stories with acceptance criteria

  • Lead story mapping and write clear epics/features/stories with acceptance criteria, including AI quality/evaluation needs and required non-functional requirements (security, privacy, accessibility, performance).

Support third-party vendor intake, review, and enablement

  • Participate in vendor evaluations (as needed) and help shepherd onboarding/implementation requirements into the delivery backlog.

Drive sprint readiness and agile delivery execution

  • Drive refinement and sprint readiness, participate in core agile ceremonies, and provide timely decisions so the team ships in small, testable increments.

Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and integration handoffs

  • Manage cross-team dependencies and integration handoffs so enterprise AI capabilities and experience standards come together in an end-to-end release.

Define test strategy, acceptance testing, and UAT for AI behavior and workflow outcomes

  • Partner with QA and ML teams to define and run acceptance testing/UAT for AI behavior (edge cases, error handling, escalation) and workflow outcomes.

Plan releases and support production readiness for AI capabilities

  • Coordinate release scope and communications, ensure operational readiness (telemetry, access, support/runbooks), and partner with AI Experience on enablement assets (in-product guidance, training, change comms) for each release.

Operate intake and continuous improvement loops from user feedback

  • Run intake and triage for enhancements/defects and translate adoption insights into prioritized backlog items, including AI literacy and enablement needs (guides, FAQs, training) aligned to experience standards.

Instrument outcomes and report delivery/product health

  • Define and track KPIs/telemetry across value, quality, and adoption (usage, satisfaction, deflection, literacy/enablement completion) and provide a regular view of product health, delivery progress, and backlog status.

Ensure delivery aligns with responsible AI and regulatory requirements

  • Embed responsible AI and regulatory controls into requirements, testing, and release readiness, and maintain lightweight documentation for governance and auditability.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
  • 3+ years as a PO and/or BA on agile teams, owning a backlog through release.
  • Expertise creating epics/features/stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows in Jira/Azure DevOps and Confluence (or equivalent).
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management; leads refinement, UAT, and trade-off decisions.
  • Data-literate; defines KPIs and uses metrics to drive prioritization.
  • Working knowledge of GenAI delivery (context/prompting, evaluation, drift, HITL, observability); partners effectively with ML teams.
  • Experience embedding privacy/security/risk controls into requirements, testing, and releases.
  • Preferred: CSPO/PSPO (and/or SAFe PO/PM); regulated-industry and platform experience.
