As a Security Officer High Rise Building Access Control in Orange, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access awareness, assist tenants and visitors with great customer service, and contribute to a caring team culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, property-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, parking areas, common areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe building activity, and report maintenance issues, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location procedures.
• Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by providing directions, answering routine questions, and maintaining visible presence during patrol activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
