Join Allied Universal as an Armed Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and document arrivals, departures, deliveries, and other access-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around residential common areas, entrances, gates, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Support gatehouse and/or community access operations by communicating clearly with residents and authorized guests, maintaining accurate records, and following Allied Universal post orders and security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card and unarmed guard card is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
