Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a Bio Tech Company in Cambridge MA

Monday - Friday 6 AM - 2 PM

Starting Pay is $22.30 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate Must be 21+ years Old and Must Have 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Cambridge, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vendor entry procedures while following location protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, and after-hours activity.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating professionally with healthcare personnel and the public, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, medical, and/or security-related concerns as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
