Job Description




As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Patrol in Union City, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials and/or visitor logs, and help to control entry and exit activity for personnel, guests, and delivery traffic at the location.
  • Observe loading docks, trailer yards, and high-traffic operational areas for policy compliance, report concerns, and support orderly operations during busy periods and/or after hours.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
