As a Security Officer Access Control in Marco Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a premier resort location, where you will help monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a welcoming environment for guests, residents, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the lobby, entrances, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports on daily activities, access control events, and unusual incidents, while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
