As a Security Officer Driver Entry Services in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, customer-focused environment. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license in job state. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence, clear communication, and dependable service, while reflecting our caring culture, teamwork, agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas and critical infrastructure.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and access points, observing for unusual activity, equipment issues, and other security-related conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
