Security Officer - Access Control Full Time

As a Security Officer - Access Control Full Time Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.68 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and deliveries, verifying credentials and following location protocols for screening, logging, and/or directing traffic.
• Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by reporting hazards, investigating disturbances, and helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or disruptions to the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
