Howmet Aerospace is searching for a Global Product Integrity Manager to join our Howmet Wheel Systems (HWS) business unit in Cleveland, OH.

Job Summary:

The Global Product Integrity Manager ensures wheel products meet internal requirements and global standards by leading testing, validation, and data driven engineering support. The role analyzes warranty trends, partners with field service and global teams to investigate product concerns and drives root cause analysis and corrective actions. It also develops new test methods, improves data quality, and provides closed loop feedback to design teams to enhance safety, reliability, and future product performance. This position plays a key role in strengthening product quality throughout the entire lifecycle.

Product Testing & Compliance

  • Ensure all products are tested in alignment with internal requirements and applicable global industrial standards.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant regulations, certifications, and compliance frameworks.

  • Manage product validation and audit testing activities, coordinating with internal teams and external testing partners.

  • Oversee test scheduling, documentation, reporting, and issue resolution.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing accurate, data driven input to support engineering and product decisions.

  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to interpret test results and recommend corrective actions or design improvements.

  • Improve test data collection, organization, and analysis to enhance accuracy, repeatability, and visibility.

  • Implement tools, processes, or automation to streamline data workflows.

  • Develop new test methods and protocols in partnership with engineering teams to support innovation and evolving product requirements.

  • Evaluate and introduce new equipment, technologies, or best practices to expand testing capabilities.

Product Warranty

  • Analyze warranty performance and trends, communicating insights regularly with field service, product design, program launch, die design, process engineering, quality, R&D, and global manufacturing teams.

  • Participate in cross functional root cause analysis efforts, supporting corrective actions and improvement projects driven by warranty data.

  • Provide closed loop feedback to design engineers to influence future product designs with a strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and customer experience.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Wheel Test Lab Supervisor and global external test laboratories to understand, interpret, and apply existing and emerging industry standards.

  • Partner with the Wheel Warranty Center and Field Service teams to investigate product concerns, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to warranty processes and product performance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Engineering Technology, or other related technical field

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Employment eligibility verification will be required at the time of hire.

  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related technical field

  • Exposure to cross functional areas such as product design, process engineering, and product quality.

  • Background in product testing, warranty analysis, and/or field service
