As a Security Officer Entry Checkpoint in Plant City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will help manage entry and exit activity, monitor assigned areas, and support a professional, welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, process visitor check-ins, and document deliveries, vehicles, and authorized personnel entering restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, and other assigned locations, as working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Support site operations by maintaining accurate logs, completing required reports, communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
